MASTER TEACHER ASSESSMENT
Kimberley D'adamo was my master
teacher during the last semester of the teacher preparation program at Cal
and a very reflective teacher. I would often spend an hour or more at a time
with her discussing my own practice as a teacher. We would discuss issues
such as how effective a lesson was, how my actions effected student behavior,
what other factors might effect student behavior, whether a lesson produced
optimal learning, how a lesson could be tweaked to better suit a certain group
of students. Her assessment of my performance as a reflective teacher is attached
below. Although it is not a record of the reflective conversations we had,
it is evidence that those conversations took place and that she sees me as
a reflective teacher.
